About the New Employee Portal

New Employee Portal is a hub designed in-house for employees to access basic HR tools that make communication more accessible between a business's administration and the employee. Features of the portal include submitting IT and Building Maintenance Tickets, easy access to a document library for external communications, and company news announcements.

The goal of this project was to replace the use of Google Sites, to solve the lack of a structured user flow and journey, and to organize communication for a local small business' employee utility site all without increasing company spending on third party services/features.

My Role

Design a user interface that is well organized, accessible, usable, sticks with brand standards, and to hand off designs to the Developer Team.
